Brief History of Green Dirt Farm

Before going into detail about the history of Green Dirt Farm, let’s first list their awards. This is to boost your confidence about how good they are.

They have bagged so many awards since the creation of Green Dirt Farm but we are going to list out the notable awards:

  • They bagged 7 awards in Cheese Society annual competition in the United States
  • They bagged 3 Class awards in the United States
  • In 2018 and 2019, they bagged World Championship Cheese Contests
  • In 2018, 2019, and 2020, they bagged the Good FoodGood Food Award, etc.

Due to their passion to create new styles, and redefine cooking, Sarah Hoffmann established Green Dirt Farm in the year 2002 along the lush hills in northwestern Missouri. Her farm makes sure that their animals are being taken care of and they understand that sheep, fed with enough grasses are very productive, that is why they have dedicated their time to care for the wellbeing of their animals.

You may have not tested milk from sheep before but trust me, they tend to be a perfect alternative for cow milk. The taste of sheep’s milk is outstanding. The farm has not only grown bigger and better in terms of sheep milk production, but they have also collaborated with other local dairies to provide a larger quantity of sheep’s milk, and recently, they added cow milk to their collection.

Covid-19 Policies

The management of Green Dirt Farm loves their customers and wants them to stay healthy, that is why they are requesting that their customers follow all COVID-19 protocols like wearing of facemask when they are not eating or if they have not vaccinated themselves. If you arrive without a facemask, the management has made provision for some.
